NAWAI is a nutrition tracking app published by DALIA IT. This policy explains what data is processed, why it is processed and how users can delete it.

Data processed
- Account: email address, Supabase user ID and sign-in method.
- Nutrition profile: age, height, weight, biological sex if provided, goal, activity level, training frequency, calorie and macro targets.
- Meals: foods entered, meal photos submitted for analysis, nutrition estimates, corrections and history.
- Apple Health: profile, activity and workout data only if the user grants permission in iOS.
- Security and operation: session status, cloud synchronisation and technical diagnostics needed to operate the app and improve reliability.
NAWAI does not collect data for advertising tracking and does not sell user data.
Purposes
Data is used to create and secure accounts, synchronise data, estimate meals, personalise targets, provide support and improve the app’s reliability.
NAWAI’s nutrition estimates are indicative. They do not constitute medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation.
Service providers
NAWAI uses Supabase for authentication, the database, storage and server functions; Resend for email; OpenAI for AI analysis of submitted meals and text; and Apple HealthKit/iOS for Apple Health data authorised by the user.
Apple Health
Apple Health data is used only to personalise nutrition tracking in NAWAI. It is not used for advertising, sold or shared with data brokers. Users can withdraw Apple Health permission at any time in iOS settings.
Retention
Account data is retained for as long as the NAWAI account exists. Local data can be deleted in the app when deleting the account.
Account deletion
Users can delete their account directly in the app: Profile > Privacy & Security > Delete my account.
Deletion removes the NAWAI account, associated cloud data and cloud backup. After deletion, the user can no longer sign in with that account.
User rights
Users can request access to, correction of or deletion of their data through the in-app process or by contacting [email protected].
Security and changes
NAWAI uses encrypted connections, secure authentication and established cloud providers. This policy may change as the app evolves. The version published at https://nawai.ai/privacy is the applicable version.
